Nutrition Services

Greeley-Evans School District 6 will be participating in the Colorado Healthy Meals for All program beginning in the 2023-24 school year. This means that all D6 students enrolled in the district may eat breakfast and lunch at no cost!  However, look for a D6 School Benefits Application sent to families via email in early August. Completion of this application may provide your family with waived D6 course and athletic fees and will also provide D6 with additional state and federal funding.

The Nutrition Services Department has its sights on improving the nutritional quality of meals. They utilize scratch cooking and using raw, whole ingredients instead of highly processed foods. A snack of fresh fruit or vegetables is provided to students Tuesday through Friday.

Students do not need to eat all their lunch; however, we do encourage them to try everything. Any food or beverage that is not consumed has to be thrown away. Due to health regulations, no one is allowed to take any uneaten food out of the cafeteria.
